Alexander Mahler

Co-founder and Partner

Alex Mahler is a co-founder of Alinor Capital.

Alex brings over 20 years of investment experience specialising in European credit opportunities, with a focus on deep fundamental and relative value analysis.

Prior to founding Alinor, Alex spent nearly a decade at Deutsche Bank where he was Head of Credit Analysis in the Distressed Products Group. Earlier in his career, he was part of the distressed debt trading desk at JPMorgan and Citigroup.

Alex holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Billy Radikopoulos

Co-founder and Partner

Billy Radikopoulos is a co-founder of Alinor Capital.

Billy brings more than 20 years of investment experience, with a focus on the technical and trading aspects of the European alternative credit market.

Billy was the Head of Trading at Attestor Capital for more than seven years. He previously led trading for Lehman Brothers International’s Europe Estate, having formerly held senior positions within the structured credit teams of both Lehman Brothers and Société Générale.

Billy holds an MSc in Engineering from the University of Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD.

Michael Sutton

Co-founder and Partner

Michael Sutton is a co-founder of Alinor Capital.

Michael has more than 20 years of investment experience with expertise in the legal and strategic aspects of the European credit opportunities market.

Prior to Alinor, Michael spent two decades at Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of Special Situations in the Distressed Products Group. Michael began his career as a restructuring lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP.

Michael holds an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge.

Jodie Blenkharn

Chief Operating Officer

Jodie Blenkharn is Alinor’s Chief Operating Officer.

Jodie has significant experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Alinor, Jodie worked at Attestor Capital where she was responsible for fund legal and structuring, tax, regulation, HR and investor relations support. She was previously the Associate General Counsel at Alta Advisers and began her career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and Hong Kong.

Jodie holds a LLB (Hons) from the University of Manchester and postgraduate LPC degree from BPP School of Law and is a member of the International Bar Association. She is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Jonas Aita

Senior Analyst

Jonas Aita is a senior analyst at Alinor Capital.

Jonas has significant expertise in the financial services industry, specialising in distressed investing.

Prior to Alinor, Jonas was a research analyst at Deutsche Bank’s Distressed Products Group, after spending eight years at Marathon Asset Management in a similar role. He began his career as a leveraged finance analyst at Nomura.

Jonas received a BSc in Business Administration from European Business School in Germany and an MSc in Finance from IE Business School in Spain.

Johannes Bolzano

Senior Analyst

Johannes Bolzano is a senior analyst at Alinor Capital.

Johannes brings significant expertise in financial services, including special situations and distressed investing.

Johannes joined the firm from PIMCO, where he spent five years as a portfolio manager. Prior to this, Johannes was a director at CarVal Investors, worked at AnaCap Financial Partners and was in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services Team.

Johannes holds an MSc in International Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and is a CFA charter holder.

Brian Cahill

Originator

Brian Cahill focuses on origination in the investment team at Alinor Capital.

Brian brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Brian joined Alinor after co-founding two fintech and software businesses. Prior to this, he spent 15 years at JPMorgan, where he was a managing director within its Equity Derivatives Group and held various sales leadership roles.

Brian holds a Masters in Corporate Finance from University College Cork.

Bailey Dillon-Burns

Analyst

Bailey Dillon-Burns is an analyst at Alinor Capital.

Bailey brings several years of experience in credit and restructuring. Bailey was previously an investment banking analyst at Houlihan Lokey in the Financial Restructuring Group and a leveraged loan credit analyst with State Street.

Bailey graduated from Cass Business School with a BSc (Hons) in Banking and International Finance and from Imperial College Business School with a MSc in Finance.

Tom Hatfull

Analyst

Tom Hatfull is an analyst at Alinor Capital.

Tom has several years of restructuring experience.

Prior to joining Alinor, Tom spent three years in the restructuring team at FTI Consulting, where he worked on a range of UK and European mandates.

Tom holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol.

Raphael Lederman

Analyst

Raphael Lederman is an analyst at Alinor Capital.

Raphael has several years of special situations and distressed investing experience.

Raphael joined Alinor from Deutsche Bank, where he was a research analyst in the Distressed Products Group. Prior to this, Raphael had work experience in complex equity derivatives trading, including at Société Générale.

Raphael holds an MSc in Financial Engineering, a BSc in Applied Economics and a Law Studies Certificate from Paris Dauphine University. He also holds a Post Master’s Degree in Machine Learning from Institut Polytechnique de Paris and a BA in Philosophy and Human Sciences from Paris Nanterre University.

Wayne Li

Head of Operations

Wayne Li is Alinor Capital’s Head of Operations.

Wayne brings significant experience working in operations at leading financial institutions.

Prior to joining Alinor Capital, Wayne spent five years as Head of Operations at Ironshield Capital. Before this, Wayne supported trading desks at Finisterre Capital, Goldman Sachs and Barclays Capital.

Wayne holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.

Robbie Powell

Legal Analyst

Robbie Powell is a legal analyst at Alinor Capital.

Robbie brings several years of experience in debt restructuring, special situations, and capital markets and leveraged loan deals.

Robbie joined Alinor on a secondment from White & Case before becoming part of the team on a full-time basis in 2024. Prior to joining Alinor, Robbie was an associate in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Team at White & Case.

Robbie holds a BA in History & Politics from the University of Nottingham and a Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School.

Lewis Steventon-Done

Operations Manager

Lewis Steventon-Done is the Operations Manager at Alinor Capital.

Lewis has spent several years working in operational roles for the financial services industry.

Lewis joined from AlbaCore Capital, where he was an operations associate, after beginning his career at Equiniti.

Lewis holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Sussex.

Joe Tierney

Joe Tierney is an originator in the investment team at Alinor Capital.

Joe has two decades of investment banking experience.

Joe joined the firm from Citigroup where he spent six years working in the Leveraged Finance markets business. Prior to that, he was a director at Morgan Stanley, working on the Special Situations desk.

Joe holds a BA in Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney.

Joe Tollet

Finance Manager

Joe Tollet is the Finance Manager at Alinor Capital.

Joe brings several years of financial and operational experience.

Joe was previously at BDO where he qualified as a chartered accountant working as an auditor in the professional services sector. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst at Chatham Financial.

Joe graduated from The University of Edinburgh with an MA in Economics.
